Menatalla Sadek

Managing Director

Mrs Menatalla Sadek founded the leadership team of Lightsource BP Powered by Hassan Allam in early 2018. Mrs Sadek brings with her nearly two decades of investment banking and operational leadership experience across the MENA region and in Europe. Most recently, Mrs Sadek was Group Chief Investment Officer of GB Auto, a regional leader in the automotive and non-bank financial services sector. While at GB Auto, she lead the creation of an in-house corporate finance department to drive the company’s growth strategy. She has also worked for Beltone Financial, Standard & Poor’s European Rating Team and Barclays Bank, as well as being a CFA Charterholder.

Kareen Boutonnat

Chief Operating Officer

Mrs Kareen Boutonnat is responsible for all operational and project execution at Lightsource BP globally, and specifically oversees development and operation for Lightsource BP Powered by Hassam Allam. She has led the development and management of Lightsource BP’s expanding portfolio, successfully reaching significant milestones including the first company to reach 1GW installed capacity in the UK and securing the company’s position as the leading solar developer in Europe. Prior to Lightsource BP, Mrs Boutonnat worked for solar EPC company, Solar Century, and a number of successful US technology businesses including WebMethods and Sonic Software.
